SeaWorld part 2

     Now after watching blackfish and sea-worlds response I still think the trainers are lying. The whales shouldn’t be at seaworld. In the trainers response he said that 85% of the movie was false and says the orcas get the best care. In don’t believe that and also in the movie it shows that the males dorsal fins are flipped over. It says that happens when they are stressed which is probably because of the small enclosures they have. The trainer also states that one of the injuries wasn’t real but those trainers still shouldn’t be with the whales. Enough people have already died bye orcas.

First BlackFish thoughts

     Yesterday I learned about SeaWorld and the orcas and I have some thoughts on the orcas. So first of all I think they shouldn’t have orcas at SeaWorld because there whales and grow really big. And for example Tilikum killed 3 people because of being really large and it that small box they keep the orcas in. So I think SeaWorld should let the orcas back at sea and probably stick to dolphins or smaller animals.

My Thanksgiving Break

     My Thanksgiving break was awesome. For Thanksgiving we made the turkey and then brought it to my aunts house. Which is where I ate like 3 servings of turkey and rice. Then after everyone finished eating and I went to play with my little cousins who are 4 and 9. The next few days I mostly just played some video games and watched Netflix in my living room. Then on the last day of break my cousin, my mom and I went to a vault escape, Which is basically where they lock you in a room and you have 1 hour to escape by finding clues and puzzles. It was our first time so we thought we were going to fail. But we ended up getting out with 3 minutes and 18 seconds remaining. So that's basically what I did for my Thanksgivings Break.

1st Quarter Reflection

     My 1st Quarter was pretty awesome. My classes were ELA, Accelerated Math, Science, Social Studies, PE and Steam. But my favorites were only Math, Social Studies and Science. There were also lots of new rules that I didn’t like. For example, having to use hall passes to use the bathroom. One rule that I did like was that you could chew gum in class. Also at lunch time we got 35 minutes to eat instead of 20 minutes which I was pretty excited about. But the bad thing was that right away the whole 6th grade got assigned seats for being to loud. In ELA I did really good at plot diagrams and my bloggers. One struggle I did have was writing my final personal narrative. In Math class I didn’t really have any struggles because I already knew most of the work. We do get a lot of homework for math but it’s pretty fun anyways. Well, 1st Quarter went really good and I hope I do just as good in 2nd Quarter.

Climate Strike

I think we need to do something because are generation is suffering from the pollution and climate change. This year July broke its record in temperature and most of the ice caps are melting which is why people are concerned. I also really liked Greta Thunberg's speech and I was also surprised when I found out she was only 16. I hope her speech makes a difference because I know lots of people are talking about her. Lots of people from other countries are also protesting on climate change.
